
Democrat Miranda Hernandez is a single mother and attorney who has worked tirelessly to improve the criminal justice system, protect immigrant rights, and strengthen reproductive rights. Now, Miranda is running for Cook County Commissioner in the 16th District to improve county services.
Rooted in her values of public service and community, Miranda put her law degree and MBA to use for us on Capitol Hill, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office, where she championed policies that promote equity, opportunity, and support for working families.
